These wines of New Zealand express the clean, pure country where they originate. The soils of New Zealand are young and being surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman sea the ocean winds keep the air free of pollution and the temperatures cool. Our wines are made from fruit sourced from sustainably managed vineyards. This purity of fruit is preserved in the winery by very simple wine making processes to keep the wines vibrant and fresh.

Our Sauvignon Blanc is taken from a number of vineyards in the Marlborough region where we select just the right balance of fruit from each site to make the wonderfully balanced, vibrant and fresh sauvignon blanc. All of this wine is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks where the ferment can be controlled to preserve the fresh vibrant aromas of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is vibrant and fresh, overflowing with tropical fruit, citrus, kiwi fruit, gooseberry and the classic herbal notes of Sauvignon Blanc. The fresh acidity and balance of fleshy fruit is the perfect complement to any food and the best of company.

Our Chardonnay is grown in vineyards selected to give the freshness of new world fruit but still retain the more complex characters gained from lower yields and good vineyard management. A percentage of fruit is fermented in French oak that gives richness and complexity while a proportion of each vintage is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. This helps to retain the vibr ant fruit and natural acidity while the oak aged component of the wine gives body and complexity. This Chardonnay has the aroma of soft ripe peaches, pears, and some nutty complexity from aging in French oak. There is also just a hint of spices and honey to intrigue the senses. It has a lovely softness that finishes on the palate with a lingering richness.

The fruit for this wine is grown on our hillside vineyards in the Marlborough region where the cool climate allows this fragile fruit to ripen without the risk of disease or the use of harmful chemicals. Our vineyards are all managed sustainably and this extra care is extended to the winery where the Pinot Noir fruit is hand processed and fermented in temperature controlled tanks. Part of the wine is then aged in French oak while part is aged in stainless steel tank to preserve the fresh vibrant fruits. Aromas of strawberry, plums, spices and cherries. This Pinot has the classic soft velvet tannins of ripe Pinot Noir that make the wine silky and a pleasure at any time.

All That Jazz Wines is the latest creation from Mike Eaton, the first vintage is 2010. Mike is a home-grown Marlborough winemaker who started out in the 1980’s as a vineyard labourer. He worked in France before returning to New Zealand to plant and develop the first hillside vineyards in the Marlborough region and become one of the region’s early viticulturists to concentrate on Pinot Noir cultivation. With his 30 years of experience in viticulture, combined with his French experience, there is no doubt that Mike is one of NZ’s greatest viticulturists with one of the best understanding of land and terroir in Marlborough. In 1999 Mike planted a new vineyard with the aim to make his own wines under his own label; this was the birth of TerraVin. Much like TerraVin’s individually-styled Pinot Noirs and Sauvignon Blanc, Mike Eaton brings the same high-quality, limited production focus to the All That Jazz range. These wines of New Zealand express the clean, pure country where they originate. It is this combination that has created the new phenomenon of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
